In When Sizzlin’ Stacy Met Dazzlin’ Darlene Davies’ escort card collection is presented in pairs juxtaposed with seemingly innocuous images, which are the result of the artist’s eBay searches. These unusual pairings are designed to remind us that stereotype, cliché and mystique underpin our understanding of both, for example, a motorcycle and a sultry temptress.
